Apple iMac & Mac Boko Pro

I have an Apple imac - OSX 10.0 (fairly new) I recently just bought an Apple Macbook Pro 15inch (brand new).

Anyway the iMac is my main machine. (laptop is additional)

How can i sync these? for example I would like my laptop to be updated as much as my desktop:

itunes music (on both machines)
e-mail

I'm just wondering can I turn these into 1 computer as such. maybe a 2 way usp to link info?

Depending on who your email is through you could switch to using IMAP, which would give you access to the mailbox on the remote server
The other option would be to leave copies of mail on the server (still using pop3)
The only really good way to do it is using Exchange or a derivative (though IMAP can work pretty well)

alright grand - i'm with upc / ntl & I'm just using standard mac mail. I'll look into the exchange & using imap.
