Games For Mac OSX?

Can anyone recommend any good games for the Mac?

I'm not much of a gamer, but it's one of the few things I miss from Windows

You've got a big beasty of a machine ... ? ... it should be able to handle a VM running games

I'm doing it on my MBP and its struggling quite a bit but for oldish games its still pretty cool

There is also the crossover for games that will mean a fair few windows games will run on osx (similar basically to wine and linux)

Though I have to admit this is one of the reasons I'm thinking of getting a half decent PC (only half decent not a full gaming machine but with enough umpf to make me happy)

For the scenary

I think one issue I've heard quite a few times in relation to the 27inch iMac ... is lack of native resolution for game play .. though that said I don't really know what graphics card / cards could run well at that resolution
