One of the things I like being able to do with analytics is comparing data over time, so with "normal" web traffic I'm interested in checking activity now versus a month ago, or since the beginning of the year or even comparing a period in 2012 with the same one in 2011 or earlier
Doing that in Google Analytics is pretty easy and even with tools like Awstats or Webalizer you can still access data going back several years without difficulty.
With Facebook Insights for pages, however, they only give you a maximum of 89 days
Does this mean that you have to manually download and archive the data every now and again in order to build up a comprehensive view over time, or is there some other way of doing it?
Surely I'm not the only person out there who wants to see this kind of data?
