Have SIG Links Changed?

Have the Sig links in the forum been changed to Redirects? If so any reasons why or when this was implemented?

I haven't made any changes to anything in ages

The last change I made was about 5 minutes ago when I upgraded vbulletin to the latest patch ..

It was the skimlinks code - I'll have to see what the story is with that ..
