how to accept donations on a website

Hi all,

I have developed a site for an organisation and I am now looking at adding a page to it where individuals can submit a donation to the organisation. I am looking for recommendations as to the best payment method for contributing donations, any ideas? I have seen that Paypal is popular, any others just for comparisons?

Paypal is probably the easiest, but if they're a charity maybe something like www.mycharity.ie :: online charity fundraising :: My Charity, Fundraising Ireland, for Online Charity Donations Ireland, Online Fundraising Ireland, Donate to Irish Charities would work better?

Thanks for the reply. The organisation are more of a society that meet a couple times a month, organize outings etc so not really a charity as such. So PayPal may be my best bet.
