Is legal to create a raffle in Ireland

I looked on the net and couldn't find nothing or I am probably looking for the wrong thing.

How legal is to have a paid ticket raffle in Ireland?

Lets say you raffle a product worth 5000 euro and only have 100 x 50.00 € for sale.

How legal is that?

It comes under the Lotteries Act, have a look at this link

If it's for a registered charity, I think you just need your local Garda Super to authorise it (but check on that). We ran one for a charity and the local garda station organised the permit.

Private Clubs GAA/Golf etc and the Work place are all classed as in-house. The tickets can not be publicly advertised nor can tickets be sold to the general public.
