Its a bit of a nightmare to maintain

There are a hell of a lot of plugins and features available its just ouch the way they go about releasing it for example they only have the v2.2 RC 2a available from their website. EEK!!!

Release candidates shouldn't be final versions but ah well ...

Similar to OScommerce unfortunately (as far as I can remember its a spin off)

They could do with releasing a new version of OsCommerce, there are a lot of good plugins they could build into a new release. Trying to decide which version of each plugin to use can be a dilemma never mind finding them. Different people updating different past versions of the same plugin makes it unclear as to which version to use sometimes. It's still a good cart though especially considering it's free.
