    Hi All,

New to here and this is my first post.

I'm running a forum on my site using phppbb 3.0.8 (sql 5.0.92) using style, Subsilver2.

I currently have a jobs area on it, but am looking to move over to a dedicated jobs board, as well as keeping the board running as a forum.

I've had a quick look at Jamit, and it seems to fit the bill nicely.

I would, however like to be able to link the login information on phpbb & Jamit, as I don't want my 4000 users to have to create a whole new set of logins / passwords etc.

Does anyone know how to get the logins to sync?
i.e. login through jamit, you're logged into the forum and vice versa, and also that new registrations (after Jamit installation) in either Jamit or the Forum be sync'd.

Easier still, can Jamit and phpBB share the same login / user database?

I'm not a php expert, and don't know where to start with this one.

    Thanks for your time,

    pipingdesigners

I'm not familiar with Jamit, but have used jobberBase - The Open Source Job Board Software on several sites.

I'm not aware of any "bridges" between it and phpBB, but since JobberBase doesn't actually use logins it's never been an issue
