Updating Nameservers Charge

One of my clients Lady Maids is using a UK hosting company 34sp for there IE domain name (charged at €45 per year). When I logged in to update there name servers I get a message saying the hosting company will charge €39.00 for this change. Is this normal practice as it seems very odd? I haven't seen a hosting company charge for updating name servers before. I have attached a screen shot.

Is the domain name registered via them? Or is it registered via someone else?

It seems a bit strange that they'd charge you for changing nameservers on a domain name if you were paying normal fees for it ..

Yes we are paying them and it's pricey enough already €45 a year! I have never heard of a hosting company charging for this!

Im hoping to find somewhere on there website that it says this isn't charged for. I have .coms and .co.uks with them and they don't charge for those domains!

€45 / year for hosting isn't expensive - it's a reasonable price

The nameserver change fee, however, is odd
Just move if you're not happy :)
