Using QR Codes to make business cards "digital"

Just wanted to share an idea from a client of ours who is printing business cards with QR codes instead of information that then link to your website, LinkedIn etc - essentially giving you a digital connection with your Business Cards - which they've called "FaceCards"

Interesting, although Near Field Communications (NFC) could blow QR codes out of the water...

I'd use a .tel instead - hell of a lot more useful
The problem with QR codes is that last time I checked the iPhone doesn't ship with any reading software ..

And that site does little to instil confidence

No tangible contact details
No business details
No privacy policy
No phone number

Order form is not protected by SSL, so God only knows where it's going

Yes - and you could connect the QR code to your .TEL (as a URL)
iPhone and Blackberry both have a good choice of QR code apps to download now
