I'll be upgrading this site to run VB4 in the next couple of weeks

So the question is very simple

Do a straight forum upgrade OR add the CMS stuff as well?

I would vote for just a forum... no need for a CMS.

I find the CMS good , but it does require the time to keep putting up new content.
Do you have any examples of it in use?

Even if I don't get it for this site I've already got it for another site I'm working on, so I'd love to see what others have done :)

Here is my site

http:// cruis e tt .com <- remove spaces

The ports & ships tabs are custom code , but the rest is pretty much as it came.

I decided against the CMS for this site in the end - though I am going to use it on another one :)

Hi BN,

any problems updating from 3 to 4? I have put off because vbseo did not look ready, but everything here looks good. Would you advise to update now?

Cheers

VBSeo is more or less read, so there shouldn't be any issues

I did a very brief blog post about it: Upgrading Vbulletin 3.* to Vbulletin 4.* - Michele Neylon :: Pensieri

The main thing is to disable ALL plugins before you upgrade. Some of the more common / popular ones have been ported to VB4, while others haven't
