What software are you using?
Do you use Dreamweaver, or do you prefer Frontpage?
Nothing other than notepad and paint at the moment! It's plain old html for me until I buy some proper software.
Which file formats does paint suppport?
You might want to have a look at the Gimp
Paint for my graphics! .png, jpg, etc.
I really should get something better, but for the moment i'm content. I've heard of gimp before but never got the chance to download it. I'll do that now...
It's very powerful and did I mention that it was FREE?
got gimp, will toy around with it later
There are useful tips and tricks here:
thanks i'll check that out
I use skEdit for my html and css, along with Dreamweaver if the client wants to use Contribute to update their site.
Paul - What do you use for graphics?
Ah, always Photoshop for graphics. Use it to mock up designs and for everything else graphical. I've heard of some designers using OmniGraffle for mockups though, which looks quite cool.
I use a combo of dreamweaver and fireworks. Seems to work well.
Is anybody using Flash?
What about other text editors?
edit++ seems good for code but dreamweaver loves php so im happy
Personally I use Dreamweaver's adopted and strange brother Homesite+ - always prefered it to Dreamweaver (who lets face it is a skank). As for graphics - normally Fireworks/Photoshop
Homesite is nice. Are they still developing it?
I dont think so, its now just called HomeSite+ (or 5.5) and its bundled as a hidden product with Dreamweaver, you have to hunt for it on the CD
So it's not even mentioned in the documents??
I use TextMate or vim, depending on whether I'm on a mac or not. Graphics? I care not for graphics!
rsynott - how would you handle graphics if a client asked for them?
Separate names with a comma.
