Hi All, I have been creating a website in Wordpress for the last few months and I have a problem with the way the ur is displaying: It appears as this but the thing is I want to get rid of the index.php part of this if anyone could help me? So I want the url to be just .../profile Is there any plugin I can use in wordpress to make this happen or what is the reason for it appearing like this? Thanks a million, Sean

Thanks for your response and link - I have checked it out and the permailink structure that is on my wordpress admin is http://www.heatherhumphreys.ie/index.php/sample-post/
If I try to delete the "index.php" part of this the hompage works fine but all other pages bring up an error
Is this something i should be able to change through my host (blacknight) panel?

Look as if your on IIS and its not my bag - here somethin I searched WordPress › Support » GoDaddy, IIS and Removing index.php in url
You have to amend your config file - cant offer advice on that bar one - back up first!
