To me it looks like your choice of colours clash a bit. The shades of blue and orange seem to be fighting with each other for attention of your eye as soon as you look at the site.

Maybe you are going blue and orange because it's a bit like bizplus? if you look at their site you will see that they are using predominantly blue with orange dashes. The button bar seems to have a mix of bold and non bold buttons which makes it a little uncomfortable to look at.

Ultimately I'm not a designer so I can't give you professional advice, but just my 2cents..

If it were me I would actually throw featured businesses for sale straight up on the home page (ala sciptlance.com).
