Oh I know.
Ws just wondering did many people notice a drop-off in their email newsletters when they started RSS.

My rss feeds are the same as the newsletter, yet my figures for the newsletter continue to go up at a higher rate than the feeds, leading me to believe that a lot of ordiniary folks (ie not techies or Bernie Goldbach) prefer the newsletter approach

RSS is really only popular among the tech-savvy. For some things i still prefer an email. I tend to scan RSS feeds much like webpages - as opposed to reading emails.
