| I'm just wondering does anyone know if there is any known advantage to having an unique IP address for your site ? Goes the SEs think any less of a site on a shared IP address ? As far as I can see with hosting365, it costs about €40 a year to have an extra one. Is it worth it ?

| I don't think its worth the hassle either unless you're doing serious spamming. Dave Naylor claimed he once got a whole C class of IPs banned from Google which if is all IPs from 84.51.236.1 to 84.51.236.255 if google has given me the correct answer.

| Most of my personal sites live on one or two IPs and don't seem to be affected.
