Default Phpbb 3?
Anyone know when this is due for final release? There are some really nice new features, I'd love to check it out... Might have a go at the beta but it says it is strictly for testing and not secure enough for live sites. Is this correct or are they just saying that to cover themselves?

I don't see any mention of AntiSPAM efforts, this is something that is really lacking from phpBB IMHO.

Yes definitely. I just started a forum and already am getting porn spam every day or two, really annoying...

This morning I installed this phpBB • View topic - [RC2] Anti Bot Question it seems pretty good and customisable ! Hopefully this will stop the 50 spam registrations a day

I have been playing on localhost with "PHPbb3 RC4" phpBB • View topic - phpBB3 Release Candidate 4 (RC4) released

Has some nice features but spam protection is less, it better for me to ask my in house php developers to some modification to prevent rather waiting from PHPbb team
