Thread: BarCamp Dublin this Saturday...

I was flicking through the names of attendees to BarCamp Dublin on Saturday coming and recognised a good few names from here. I'll most likely be there and I'm looking forward to finally meeting some of ye (not all... just some... hee hee)! Might even get to have those pints we talked about last month! Anyone sticking around town for a pint or 10 afterwards? What time will it go on until?

I posted a topic earlier but didn't really get any answers, is it worth coming along if it's not your full-time job and if you're under 18?
I am interested in having a face-to-face meetup and a chance for some networking.

I'm not sure if I can make it as I might be on call for work on Saturday.
There are a few decent looking social media presentations on which are currently tickling my tackle...interesting.

@david: I'd say you'd be grand heading along David. Be good experience for you I'd say. You might even get that summer placement you were looking for!!!

@cormac: yeah, there does seem to be a few nice topics being talked about. Ring in sick?!?!

Congrats to all the guys who pieced Barcamp Dublin together. A great job was done by all involved. Well done lads.

Hear hear. Hopefully the next one is in the works (well maybe not yet) and I hope to talk to even more people next time.

Barcamp Galway me thinks David?
Not 100% sure on that.

Does Barcamp strike twice?
I know Barcamp Galway and Educamp are in the works but unless it's within the Meath/Dublin area there pretty much 0% chance I'd be there.
