Control Panel - hack attempt?

I've just upgraded to Word Press 2.2.1 and while in the hosting control panel I came across the Login History link. I was suprised to see several IP addresses listed as trying to login to my control panel.

Example below
July 9, 2007 at 22.33 - 194.125.95.187 - attempts=2

There are several other attempts by different IP addresses that look like Irish domains. Am I interpreting this correctly or is it nothing to worry about?

If you're using Wordpress the admin section is always located at /wp-admin , so I'd expect that there probably are both people and bots out there trying to login all the time.

I get SSH attacks on my personal servers every few minutes

Actually, it was the main hosting account control panel. Several IP addresses in Ireland over the past few months.
Any thoughts?

If that's the account you have with us please contact security@ with details and we can look into it for you.

I don't think it's anything to worry about - as in I don't think anyone is targetting you specifically, but it doesn't hurt to be paranoid
