 Website Templates I just wanted to start a forum for good website template resources.A real good one that I use is www.tacticaltemplates.com They offer over 1000 HTML, Photoshop, and Flash templates. | some of them are nice, but the link above took more then 2 min to load the home page. Are you hosting the website in Japan? You need to edit the template and optimize it for web.

| Use standards compliant HTML. It will speed up the loading a lot. If I was going to your site to buy something I'd have got bored waiting for it to load and gone somewhere else

| Web Templates, Flash Templates, Website Templates Design - Template Monster - there are some incredible templates on there, although they are certainly not 'lean' but some of them are nice. Last edited by Zascar; 14-05-2007 at 05:55 PM. |

| Templates can work, but it takes a lot of time and experience in making them work. You can pull them off well if they are well optimized, recut from psd and recoded well. Like any site they can be changed to suit what you want, as for buying one off the shelf and just putting content into the html most are ****e looking when you do that. FP.ie (this was highly optimized from a template from monster template a couple of years ago) Site is due to be changed now but suited what I was after when it was done. |
