Hi guys,
Does anyone know if there is a way to match a Google Video with its related thumbnail using the video ID?

For example this video uses this thumbnail but there doesn't seem to an obvious link between the two using query strings or IDs..

Really? Do you have a link for this?
Google Video would make a great news and documentary site while Youtube is more of a 'glam and pop' site. It doesn't make sense to me to drop GV.

Youtube takes the screenshot of the very middle frame of the video for its screenshot. Seems GV doesn't do that. Might be something to look into with a few videos.

With YouTube you can choose any video frame to use as the thumb when you upload (which is great). I think the only way to get a thumbnail of a GV is to use their API.
