... I've ever seen:

Merix - Internet Technologies

Nicely designed, compliant, good code (although no seo work done yet), good navigation and content, good use of js/ajax for search, site map, portfolio, etc.

Overall, I think they've done a great job and they've got some very good clients including independent.ie.
