Default SEO listing - meta description missing
For my organic search listing, the Google result is displaying as page title and destination URL only, there is no page description showing with the result despite the relevant meta description existing on the page. Why could this be, and is it likely to be updated soon? What are Google's refresh rates on updating meta data?...

Sometimes Google uses the content if they think that it would be better to use the content of what is on the page as opposed to the META description. Is your META tags spammy ?

No not at all, some minor changes were made to what was there previously, with which there was no prroblem...

Could be a sign of only a partial indexing, or a G_litch.

While I haven't tested this in a while, I do remember that Google was a bit inconsistent in how it displayed the page content vs the meta description depending on how you searched ...
