Anyone get emails from the above, my understanding is I have to email them to remove the listing in their search engine that I did not order to avoid being charged for one years listing, is this legal?

Its most likely a scam. Similar to the Internet Register Ireland one.

That's not legal. Perhaps you could forward IEDR a copy of the e-mail and ask for comments.

If you have sample emails etc., it would be interesting to see what they are claiming

I would do absolutely nothing in the hope that they actually do invoice you. I think they might then find that this particular process may be fraudulent. There is no contract therefore they cannot invoice you for a service which you have not requested or agreed to receive.

Seems incredibly dodgy to me.
