Default File Uploader for Client
Hi guys,
I'm looking for a simple file uploader which is suitable for clients to upload files to a FTP directory. I'm going to be receiving a lot of files from many people and I'm looking for a quick solution.

(PHP / MYSQL)

The system should not require user A/Cs to be created but having them input their name/email would be an extra bonus.

I have found some scripts on SourceForge but any recommendations are welcome.

I'm confused... but thats more than likely because I was up very late last night. You want a ready made application? Or the means to make one yourself?

I could throw one together myself but I would prefer a ready made one because of time constraints.

Do you know of any script which can do as I require?

I've been trying to think ... there was a java client available before ..

(someone could download it ... you'd give them a reg file .. type thing and they'd be able to upload ... I'm saying this cus its something I'm looking for at the moment ... .. a few clients are trying to send me 40+mb emails ... EEK ... )

I usually do my own as well. FCKeditor has a built in file uploader, but thats overkill, and by the time you've configured it you'd have written the php uploader.

If anyone can upload, security and validation will take most of your time. I'm sure you will find a free script online, but I cant personally recommend one.
