I dont know if anyone else is getting this but everytime I run adwords somebody is using my feedback form to send me stupid messages.

As these messages are obviously coming from webmasters and my ads are targeted at Ireland I am hoping they are visitors here and I can finally communicate with them as the email addresses they enter are made up.

One of your recent messages.

“Chancer !!! this cost you 80c”

Well actually it didn’t because I sent a copy of your message along with your ip address to google so your constant clicking isn’t costing me a penny. You should also realise by now that google are NOT going to charge me if you click repeatedly on my ads.

I am amazed you find competition so annoying as I am to busy at the moment to even notice. I am also amazed that a grown up can be bothered writing this stuff.

Now I don’t know if these messages are coming from the same person because I have a couple of different ips showing up but both eircom. If I had as much time on my hands I would probably give the addresses to ripe or eircom but instead I am sitting here making money and laughing my proverbials off at you.

I was getting them myself but just ignored the f*** of them. Probably just another idiot that takes competition personally.

I know of at least one person who would do this. Considering his/her past record in dealing with competitors it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if it was the same person.

Where was that guy on here who admitted to clicking competitor ads, I can't find the thread. Sadly I find it not surprising, but I've heard that G has ways to not charge the publishers, but I guess it can never be 100%.

You know, you could block his IP from even seeing your Ads using the tools in Adwords. I would be more concerned about driving up impressions and lowering your CTR than the actual costs of the clicks themselves. In a way he's doing you a favour .
