google my maps stange behaviour
This is a discussion on google my maps stange behaviour within the Webmaster Discussion forums, part of the Webmaster Help category; i tried creating a new map with google mymaps last night - something doesnt seem right - every map defaults ...

 google my maps stange behaviour i tried creating a new map with google mymaps last night - something doesnt seem right - every map defaults back to 200ft no matter what zoom i have it on before i save it...... and when in edit mode changes i make to zoom or map area dont make the save button come active - i have to move one of the placeholders to make the save button come active - also some of the maps i have created dont change the area when i click on them but some do  - does any of this ring any bells with anyone ?         |

| not been using it in a bit ... which browser you using ? tried it in others ?

| also try logging out of google when you are testing, http://www.google.com/ig/logout

| yea ff, ie 6 and 7  actually what im noticing now is that maps that i created an hour or two ago are mysteriously workinng now - so im thinking that they need to do something in googlealand before i can use them this end |

| yip - did a new one and it wouldnt work right - left it for an hour and came back and it was working - it still defaults to 200ft though - has anyone encountered this before - not much use for country locations i was using mapchannels to embed and i can customise zoom here anyway NICE WEATHER THIS JULY - YEA ?? |
