The answer to this is probably obvious but I just need to be sure in my own head.
Is the "piggy points" system on pigsback.ie basically a cut of the affliate income they earn given back to the customer.
So if you earn 10% in affliate fee for certain items can you advertise get 5% back on items xyz if you buy here!!(yoursite).

Not exactly

I got a fairly detailed quote from them a couple of years ago.

There was a cost of X to be on the site per period (monthly, quarterly etc.,) and then the piggy points were extra ie. for every X points you paid Y

Yes and no.

It would depend on what you are selling. For the kind of stuff you are selling it would probably give a good return, as you have more of a mass market appeal than we do :)

it is on my list anyway. It doesn't seem to have a good rank in google (6 pages only) and alexa rank is bad as well.
I think is a bad design alltogheter, doing redirects all the time

You're missing the entire point of PigsBack :)

Forget about SEO.

Think DIRECT MARKETING with PERMISSION

(sorry for the capitalisation, but I can't stress that enough)

Can you have a website with a no. of affiliate online stores. and offer free competitons or cash back(kinda like pigsback) if customers shop via your store. Would you need the stores you are affiliated to's permission.
