They were until that lovely WURFL plugin killed my rankings...

The alternate plugin works perfectly and that mod_rewrite trick I sent you will redirect everything properly ....

Giving mobile plugins a wide berth at the minute.

I might have a tinker with the WURFL plugin if I get a chance. The dev said the plugin didn't actually parse the patch file, hence that not making a blind bit of difference.

I'll wait till I have a bit of free time (or completely sick of client work)....

The other plugin doesn't use WURFL and seems to be much saner as it doesn't change the URLs

214 .mobi domains spotted on Irish hosters. Looks like a relatively slow takeoff but it still needs the killer app such as mobile phone browsers defaulting to .mobi.

There's been a lot of talk about the iPhone's impact on .mobi in the last week or so ....

Of all the new TLDs .mobi seems to be about the only one with a proper purpose
