PHP5.2 - Help

Folks - have an account with Register365 that provides my website with PHP4.47. I need to now use PHP5.2 but Namesco are saying they have to migrate my account to a new server to avail of PHP5.2 and this may take 24/48 hours due to data being moved and DNS changes. The length of time is ok but

Will the DNS change affect my rankings in Google?

it shouldn't, but do make sure the website is running without issues.

Thanks Louie - I've read some google ranking horror stories regarding DNS changes. Has anyone here had the experience of similar and did it affect their site listing
