I'm interested in what blogs/magazines/websites people use regularly to keep up to date with new advances in webdesign, programming etc.
I often look at net magazine and their website and sitepoint is another.

Smashing Magazine's Twitter feed is very good - lots of useful links

I usually start off my day with a read up on popacular - popular delicious bookmarks it lists all the most popular articles from delicious, many of them are web technology related.

For SEO I use Twitter mainly. Following other SEO experts can provide up to date information on Google's updates or latest SEO tactics. I can only imagine that doing the same with programming or web design would be beneficial for you.
