Slow forum

Is it just me or this forum is getting as slow as boards.ie?

In the last few weeks the forum is taking ages to load the pages.

Seriously though, the page loads are woeful today for some reason.

But the good news is that it seems to be getting busier here.

Is it just my imagination Michele?

That shouldn't slow down the page, unless an add-on with a broken query or one too many is doing it.

Are any parts of the pages rendering faster than others?

I've heard of issues with adsense slowing down stuff....
This site is about the only thing sitting on a brand new HP DL 140, so it's definitely not an issue with server load

You cann't really tell cause of the PHP buffering. You have to turn off the buffer to see where is the code hanging-on.
if you find this line in the header "ob_start" just ad comment line"//" before it and check the forum.
Make sure you don't leave off cause it will create header errors.

BTW is running perfect now.

I think the issue might have been due to DNS with adsense, as everything else is running either locally or off my other server (palermo)
