that maybe so, but you're selling the idea based on the false premise that the site will get a PR of 10.

There is no money involved in giving people the option to participate in link exchanges so im not selling anything to anybody.

The links i am selling at the top and bottom of the site have nothing to do with the PR10 idea, they just want to buy one way links on a unique PR5 website.

Its all just a bit of fun, and you cannot say 100% that the site will not get a PR10.

You are saying that it will get a PR of 10:

"When PageRank10.co.uk gets a GOOGLE PAGE RANK of 10 (pr10) the overall top referrer gets this domain and website for FREE!"

I can say what I like if im giving something away for free and not taking anything from anybody.

The only person that will lose anything is me... when the site gets a PR10 :D

You are taking something from them... all the wasted time linking to your site under the faulse impression that all their work might be worth it at the end. Just be honest about it, you thought up a scam that only you will benefit from.

Shows a bit of inginuity on your part i admit but still underhand nonetheless. Reminds me of a pyramid scheme tbh.

It looks like there is a bit of an update being rolled out at the moment. And that site is showing PR6 ;)
Dig Pagerank in 700+ datacenters

One of mine is showing PR5, which seems to be a good enough value. Hopefully it will help with SERPS, but who knows !

I'm seeing changes on this end to. My blog is starting to drop 1 rank.

Don't suppose anyone is seeing a shift in the search results yet? I'm seeing some movement. :(

Apparently as far as I know, the page rank export is only done say every 3 months, for the toolbar, but the actual pagerank which can effect the SERPS is done more like every 2-5 days. I think I read that on Matt Cutts. So change in the results for your keyword could be due to a change in PR, but not actually reflected on your toolbar value.

You are right about the update every 3rd or so month. I've seen the drop before, just wondering if its going rise again.

The DC's are still updating for each of my sites. I'm seeing PR drop on some and climb on others.

That'll probably be the last time I check until the update has been fully populated across the board. Then its time to figure out what helped PR or what hurt.

In the days when PR could go down as well as up and even disappear altogether it might have meant something.

Nowadays G just de-indexes your pages while still showing a healthy PR.

The only people who care about PR these days are links sellers and buyers...

Good neighbourhood yes, high PR no.

I use a Mac so have learned to evaluate a site without knowing its PR, quite useful these days when PR is no indication of a good neighbourhood :)
