First web site - Hosting advice *please*

ok i just took the easy route and changed from the vps to a normal soho windows hosting package, i have used the ftp program to get my files up and i have my website running on a temporary url and it works fine but the url i bought doesn't work.........any ideas?

drop your support company a mail asking them to add the domain to their name servers linking up your files and the domain .... possibly ?

Well I was also using godaddy earlier but later on I came to know that its quite expensive and they are also not giving you the value of your money. So now I am looking for good hosting may be hostgator
